    Default Chessie Power!

Please say a big hoooo raaaayy for our 7 month old chessie Scout. He and his boss Ralph, entered their first started test Saturday morning. And I mean this is the first thing pup has ever gone to, not even club training or trials before, and he PASSED with flying colors!

Our friend Jeremy with his 11 month old chessie also smacked 'em and got a ribbon.

Scout was very close to a second pass today, but on the final bird on the water, he just "went puppy" on us and decided it would be more fun to stay in the water and play with that duck than to come in. I think his brain just got tired. But he was great at marking and truly focused. Egads, he even behaved in the holding blind and on the way to the line. I may have to convert

TWO PAWS UP for Scout!! Another 'brown dog' leading the way.
You wrote "Egads, he even behaved in the holding blind and on the way to the line. I may have to convert".
Since I'm new to this board and do not know everyone yet, are you a 'Lab' enthusiaist (usually own Labs only)?? If so, CONVERT!! Chessie power!! tehehe. (you will find I have alot of humorous posts).
A "lab" will do it because he was taught, trained, or it makes you happy.
A "chessie" will do it because it makes HIM happy, then you.
Therefore a Chessie Never Gives Up and will not quit despite the conditions.
(note to ALL - Labs, Chessies, et al, as long as it gets done, it's good. So you won't get the idea I'm 'anti-Lab'. My Monica was a YLF who was the Best dog I ever saw). Best Regards, Charlie

You already have. You just don't know it yet! There is no going back to black.

Or, you could stay brown and get a Chocolate Lab.
