Personally, I believe the quoted argument about terrorists sounds just like the one the Bush administration has used for warrantless wire taps. I think both arguments are stupid. Having said that, I see no reason why gun shows should not fulfill the same requirements for selling guns that are met by gun stores. In my state, I can happily walk into any gun store and walk out with a pistol of my choice following a verification process that takes less than 15 minutes and costs a few dollars. Why should gun shows do it differently?
