I thought you were democrats which supports labor unions. The unions I've come across negotiate contracts where seniority is the standard. Meaning the laziest piece of crap employee can have one day longer on the job then the best most productive employee in the place. The lazy guy can bump the best guy off jobs he wants. Good guy gets layed off first,ect,ect. Nothing is based on performance. This takes away managements power to reward good employees and give the worst employees the worst jobs= motivation. Things like this had a large roll in the decline of the auto industry.
