    Default The official RAIN thread

So we have a snow thread... I think we need a rain thread. I'm VERY thankful for it, don't get me wrong.

Right now I have to wear my tall muck boots on my lawn because it's like a giant, sopping, overwet sponge. If the dogs are bouncing around me, I'm literally getting splashed in the face. LOL

Rained all day yesterday and looks like we're in for the same today. Wish it would go the rest of the week, maybe my ponds would fill up!

Ah, you bunch of wusses (just kidding) It always rains here. I had to pull over to let a sherriff pass last week, and had to put it in 4WD to get off of the shoulder.

I don't wear black because it makes me look slim, I wear black because it hides the dog hair.

I don't mind the rain at all but would prefer it to be snow!!!!! That is the one thing I miss about Minnesota!

Oh no snow. I moved south to escape the stuff. Plus everything shuts down for days, not just the day of the snow.

It is dark as night here right now and we have warnings so we are about to get really wet. We had a wet summer, but the last month has been DRY! Bring it on, my ponds are getting low.
What is this snow stuff you guys are talking about?

    Kristie,

I am praying that this rain continues; it is dark, cold and windy outside and I don't care....the lake (Hartwell) desperately needs rain; like you, I hope it keeps up all week....I hope it keeps up for two weeks....I have NEVER seen the lake at this level (kind of like the economy)

It's been raining or snowing in New England for about 4 days now. Anticipating tomorrow and Saturday to be very wet deer hunting days. Then, it's back to ducks and geese.

We had some lovely misty rain on top of our snow. This makes a really nice ice pack.

Down here at the other end of the Chattahochee River in Florida, the rain has stopped for now. It's sunny, windy and the temperatuure is dropping. It's going to freeze tonight and there will be ice on the edges of the ponds. We had over 7 inches of rain here at the blueberry farm.
