Heading south, see you in the spring.
The reason for this post is twofold. First, I have a wonderful opportunity to work for and train with one of the better FT trainers in the game. This gives me the opportunity to finally understand what the rest of you are talking about incessently but seriously it is a wonderful opportunity to learn and become a better trainer of my own dogs.
Second, to thank publicly a couple of people that post here from time to time.
Angie B, my mentor from the time I really decided to get serious about this dog training thing. Who has talked me out of selling all my dogs and quitting all together more times than I can count and who has encouraged and challenged me to become a better trainer. She is a wonderful friend.
Lanse Brown, sure to stir deep sentiments in some but who never hesitaded to make it possible for me to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity. I am in his debt.
To top it off I get to take my two dogs, Duffy the youngster and the infamous Billy. They will benefit greatly I'm sure.
Since I I'm leaving shortly after Christmas I thought I'd take this opportunity to wish the RTF family a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
