Default Golden Qualified for National Amateur

Congratulations to Wayne Skochenski and Bailey Mae! AFC Special Touchs Satchacrazy Bailey Mae***MH (FC AFC OTCH Stanley Steamer x Satchabrat MH)

Looks like they are the only Golden so far to qualify for this year's June National Am.

I haven't had the pleasure of meeting Wayne or Bailey and not sure if they're going to run, but it's neat all the same.

Bailey is one heck of a dog, and Wayne's not to shabby of a trainer/handler either. They make a great team.

Wayne's also got a REALLY nice 2 year old QAA Black dog, that is going to great things as well..

P.S. If everyone keeps quiet and doesn't tell Bailey she's a Golden she'll continue to run like a lab

I was hoping someone who has seen them run, would chime in. That's great to hear. Looks like Bailey just turned 5.

How close is Flash? He's had a very good year.

According to EE, she has not won an All Breed trial and 6 of her points come from a Specialty. To title AFC, a dog must have an All Breed win and no more than 5 points may come from a Specialty.

    Nevertheless....congrats to Bailey and Wayne.

All I know she's a very accomplished 5 year old HRCH, MH , SRS Winner, AFC , I have never hunted with her but I have heard she is a top notch Rooster chaser as well. I don't think wayne would argue that she is a once in a life time Golden and possibly a once in a life time competitive dog, plus she's enjoyable to be around..

    HRC finished test

    Qual 2nd..

I got to train with Wayne a couple years ago, and remember Bailey ...Black Lab trapped in a Golden body , first Golden I seen run "big dog marks " while I was BBing and realized they (Goldens) come to play too.

Thanks for posting that Todd - and Shawn! Wonder if he'll breed her...

My Stanley Steamer daughter looks just like her. Hopefully we'll get half the titles they have. Hope he runs the AM with her.

Have you heard if he plans to?

JS: which Flash are you referring to?
