Greatly enjoyed reading the thread that was posted here last year so here goes for 2009!......
My goals for 2009: Get MH title on Coach and Tory, in addition to running the Grand. Earn HRCH title with Rayne along with HR titles on a couple young dogs.
HRCH and MH on Tears, MH and HRCH on Smoke, maybe run the fall grand or NMH, and then litters for both. Running other dogs as well, just no pressure/time frame for them. Two young ones will be in training as well, one for hunt tests, one for FT.
For 2009 I am hoping to continue working with daisy (16mo) and hopefully by the end of 2009 she will be a consistent hunting retriever, 2008 has been full of surprises I only hope that the progress continues.

Sell some Hattie pups this spring, get some collored ribbons in the Qualifying with Hattie this summer and qualfy her for Master National 2010 this fall.
I'm looking to finish the JH (went into season last year) and put a SH or even some MH passes on my almost 2 year old CLF.
Run a couple derby's with my young guy and get at least a ribbon or two (turns 1 on June 1, 2009).
With the snow we've been getting in ND this year, duck population is going to be awesome with all the ponds filling back in because of the high water table and all the run off. Looking forward to the possibility of the best waterfowl season yet.
Get my 6.5 yr old blf, who I am really just starting with, a SH title and keep my show dogs that have run MH string alive in 2010. It would make three straight generations. And have pups this summer/fall. Whew...
Finish 2 MH titles , one for Fats, and one for Sable.
Finish Ollies JH title(needs one ) and start her sister, Sue on her JH
Get Sue and Ollie started on Sr training and take as far as I can in 09.
Enjoy watching some of my babies that I bred, train for and get their titles too-thats special.
My goals are to get going on training! Now that I feel better I want to be ready to get a JH on her by next year if not before. Will also get going on her obedience career as she was originally intended but found this stuff instead! Mostly just to have fun with her!
Going to keep shooting them ducks so I can keep watching Homer bring 'em back. Then we gonna get our last Master pass to get qualified for the Master National, go put in a respectable performance at the Spring Grand and who knows maybe a few Owner-Handler Quals.

Get Maggie her MH and some HRC titles. Get Raider (now 9 months) any kind of titles. I am taking on a dog to train this year, the goal there is to return the guy a competent gun dog as this is what he wants.
Doc turns 1 in Feb so would like to get a SH on him and maybe run some derbies and maybe a master later in the year. Max is only 4 months so for him it will be training and maybe a senior pass by the end of the season. Lots of pheasants for both of them next fall.
Get Raven qualified all age, and get Mick to the point that I can run some derbies with him and hopefully pick up some points. I need to decide if he's a keeper or not.
After FF'in over 100 dogs to find my first true clammer this past year, I've decided I need a new FF challenge. I'm gonna force fetch a cat. Not some fluffly little cute cat either, I'm going out and find me the meanest rankest Tom cat to ever come off a farm and I'm gonna get that little bugger doing walking fetch. I mean after all, we've spent a week hashing out conditioning, hard bloody hard could it be to FF a cat.
1) Be as helpful to my training group as possible.
2) Learn as much from my training group as possible.
3) Help my training partner put a JH on the best Flatcoat I've ever seen.
4) Put an HR on my 'Chessie'
I want to start a training group in the Macon, Ga. area. Put SH on Scooter and run a few derbies, Maybe run a Q.
