I Escaped Wisconsin
The technique I used was first I had to find which snow drift my vehicle was. Certainly did not want to dig out some one else’s! Second of all, if you have a diesel, the fuel probably gelled up so make sure you put in some blended fuel with #1 fuel oil. Third, find a window of opportunity to drive south—you don’t want to have your dogs in the vehicle at 20 below. Although the locals here complain that it is quite cold, yesterday it was in the 50’s and sunny and we got in 6 marks and 3 blinds with my amateur group. It is exciting because we are having 2 field trials in the Americus GA region. The water and land look perfect for training and trailing.
PS: I see Wayne has hired a Wisconsin BB—supposed to be here this weekend. Kevin, hope you have a safe trip!
I promise I will not ask my Wisconsin friends if spring has come, because I know the weather there is brutal.
