You live in New Berlin, WI??? Become an active member of the Fox Valley Retriever Club. They're right in your backyard. http://www.foxvalleyrc.com/ Regular training sessions, welcoming to newcomers, nicest people (even to Golden owners), very competent and conscientious trainers. Only bad thing I can say is they're too far away from me. Say hey! to Michele, Rich, Dennis, Kathy, Roger....

I just checked the map and you are not very far from Bong Rec Area. Saturday and Sunday HT there this weekend with 2 levels. Come on down and hang out. Be sure you check both SR and JR levels while you are there to see what has changed. Ask questions and have fun. p.s. I will be at both SR on Saturday and JR on Sunday. I am sure the folks of Badger GR club will welcome you and Fox Valley will have some folks there running.

Yes, you can go through the holding blinds on a choke collar, NO you cannot go to the line on a choke,
line manners are supposed to be stricter than it used to be for JH. Don't touch the dog before taking the bird....
