This reads like you are a young person, maybe a teen. Youth tends to be more forgiving and idealistic. Then one grows up and realizes that no one is going to make it for you, not even the govenment. There are no shortcuts to security ans prosperity, we have to pay that price to get there. Obomo's socialism rewards the under-achievers and makes them wards of the state. The best thing we can do is get Obomo, Pelosi, Reid, Dodd, Frank and about 100 other folks out of our federal govenment.
It's such a shame that in the USA, defending Liberty has become such a heroic deed.

What do you want him to "succeed" at? Making us slaves to an increasingly fascist state that will spy on us and invade our homes, with no dissenting voice and no means to defend ourselves from the coming tyranny?

How does he "hold integrity close" by appointing tax cheats and lobbyists to offices in direct violation of his campaign promises? Is it by ramming through legislation that no one has a chance to read with "crisis/catastrophe" fear mongering while he flies back to Chicago for Valentines Day dinner?
Is 'just tries to do right" saying that it's ok not to pay your taxes because "it was just a honest mistake"? Or showing us that those who do play by the rules will get penalized while those that don't get rewarded?

Common sense has gone "through the looking glass" and we're all going to suffer from it for a long time to come.
"It's not that government is inherently stupid, although that's a debatable question."
    Rand Paul CPAC speech 2011

I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it. Thomas Jefferson to Archibald Stuart, 1791
