Russian Bombers in Western Hemispere

We all know that the previous administration would do whatever it had to do to protect us.

Looks like the Russians smell weakness in our current so-called leader and are considering placing longrange bombers in Cuba and Venezuela. Both Cuba and Venesuela have invited the Russians Bombers to stay on their soil.

Instead of pussy-footing around, the State Department needs to issue a warning that any foreign long-range bombers will not be allowed to enter the western hemisphere. That we will use whatever we have to, to stop then from entereing including shooting them down and let this serve as a warning if they intend to do so.

Someone needs to get a copy of the Monroe Doctrine in the hands of our Secretary Of State and our Commander In Chief. I doubt many of our Congressmen are aware of it!

...............Two Russian bombers landed in Venezuela last year in what experts said was the first Western Hemisphere touchdown of Russian military craft since the end of the Cold War.....................Russia resumed long-range bomber patrols in 2007 after a 15-year hiatus.

I did not vote for Obama but.......As you can see, if you are looking, this did not start after Jan 20th.

Different situation. They are offering to allow foreign military permenent housing, not just a refueling/visit.

Jmtc, but this is more of a a political statement by the Russians, instead of a strategic military one. But with having a permanent island base there in Chavez-land and planes constantly flying in/out of there, it would be next to impossible to tell if "other arms" were being deployed there also.
