Is it just me. I always see a bunch of stuff for sale in the classidieds and its that person only post. That would kinda make me think twice before doing business with them. What do yall think just my opinion not looking to argue. Not saying that they are not legit I would be more comfortable buying from someone who has been here a while.

I've not paid that much attention to it, but I agree. Buying and/or selling from a newbie does seem to have an added element of risk.

The "retriever world" is really a very small place. If I were interested in purchasing an item and it was the user's first post AND their "Join Date"* was recent also, I would ask for references before I sent a lot of money.

*The "Join Date" will show how long the user has been a member of RTF. Many of our members lurk for years before posting for the first time.

RTF has hosted hundreds and hundreds of classified ads that have concluded with the sale of items/dogs/pups. To my knowledge, there have only been a handful of conflicts with the majority of those being resolved between the seller and buyer.

Joe (Desire Dogs) at Team Take 'em carries the insert for the 209 Primer. Great to do business with - I just picked up one.

This, plus it may be a cross post from other forums where the user may be established.
