    The graph below is current through February 27.When Obama took over, the national debt was approaching $11 trillion. Today it is slightly over $11 trillion. To have more than doubled as you have suggested, the national debt would have had to increase by more than 100%.

    I just did an exponential forcast on the recent trend. My forcast may be off by a few hours or days. Our kids now owe $36K + compared to $30K when Bush left office.
