Truck shell/ dog box options

I have a 2004 F150 shortbed. The truck has a shell in pristine condition. The topper is a Leer model 122 which is the "high rise model" giving me more heighth and has slider windows on both sides.

I am wanting to add a shelf of some type where I can mount two boxes up near the cab. I will be able to access the kennel doors through the slider windows. I would like to have one or two drawers that slide out from under the shelf for storage. Similar to a truckvault, but something I can put together out of lumber and carpet the top with outdoor carpet or something along those lines...

Anyone that has anything like this I would love a pic or two.

Live it up and have one of the box mfg build you a deck with drawers. You will have enough room for two drawers, one wide enough to house 3 Zingers or GU and the other for bumpers etc. Have tie downs installed in the deck sides to tie down your crates. It will last a lifetime and be very saleable iof you ever want to upgrade.
