    Default While the last straw...

...was loaded many weeks ago as far as I was concerned, this past couple of weeks, with the pure hopelessness of living under such a pathetic imposter as what now resides in the whitehouse, is beyond comprehension. I'm starting this thread to illustrate just a few of the incredibly disgusting stories that have come from this human being that somehow figures he is God's gift to the world.

How far away can we be from something far more serious than a TEA party? Read and weep. UB

    Arrogant Americans, Mr. President?

    Peter Heck - Guest Columnist - 4/14/2009 7:50:00 AM

As I was sitting in church waiting for the start of the service, my grandpa came walking towards me pointing his finger. No matter how old I get, and no matter how long he’s been out of the U.S. Navy, that’s still an intimidating sight. As he approached me, his voice quivered as he said, “We saved that continent twice...how dare my president apologize for this country’s arrogance.” My grandpa is right. Americans need not apologize to the world for their arrogance; rather, Americans should apologize to their forefathers for the arrogance of their president.

Barack Obama’s first foreign trip as President of the United States has confirmed the naiveté so many of us feared during the election cycle. But worse than that, it has also demonstrated that our president suffers from either a complete misunderstanding of our heritage and history, or an utter contempt for it. Neither is excusable.

Garnering cheers from the French of all people, President Obama declared, “In America, there is a failure to appreciate Europe’s leading role in the world. Instead of celebrating your dynamic union and seeking to partner with you to meet common challenges, there have been times where America has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive.” Consider that Obama spoke these words just 500 miles from the beaches of Normandy, where the sand is still stained with 65-year-old blood of “arrogant Americans.”

Indeed, columnist Mark Whittington observes, “One should remind Mr. Obama and the Europeans how America has ‘shown arrogance’ by saving Europe from itself innumerable times in the 20th Century. World War I, World War II, the Cold War, and the wars in the Balkans were largely resolved by American blood, treasure, and leadership.” But all that appears lost on the president’s seemingly insatiable quest to mend fences he imagines have been tarnished by the bullish George W. Bush.

If Obama wishes to continue trampling the presidential tradition of showing class to former office holders and publicly trash Bush for his own personal gain, so be it. But all Americans should make clear that no man – even if he is the president – will tarnish the legacy of those Americans who have gone before us. Ours is not a history of arrogance. It is a history of courage, self-sacrifice, and honor.

When abusive monarchs repressed the masses, Americans resisted and overthrew them. When misguided policies led to the unjust oppression of fellow citizens, Americans rebelled and overturned them.

When millions of impoverished and destitute wretches sought a new beginning, Americans threw open the door and welcomed them. When imperial dictators were on the march, Americans surrendered their lives to stop them. When communist thugs threatened world peace, Americans bled to defeat them. When an entire continent was overwhelmed with famine and hunger, Americans gave of themselves to sustain it. When terrorist madmen killed the innocent and subjugated millions, Americans led the fight to topple them.
This is the legacy that generations of Americans have left. If President Obama seeks stronger relations with the world community, perhaps he should begin by reminding them of these very truths, rather than condemning his own countrymen on foreign shores.

This “obsessive need to put down his own country,” has caused blogger James Lewis to call President Obama a “stunningly ignorant man” who has evidently never spoken to a concentration camp survivor, a Cuban refugee, a boat person from Vietnam, a Soviet dissident, or a survivor of Mao’s purges.

Unfortunately, I can no longer bring myself to give Mr. Obama that benefit of the doubt. Not after looking at the pain in my grandpa’s eyes... a man who still carries shrapnel in his body from his service to this country.
As a student and teacher of history, I recognize that America has made mistakes...plenty of them, in fact. But one of the great things about our people has been their courage and humility in admitting and correcting those mistakes. God willing, they will prove that willingness again in four years and correct the mistake that is the presidency of Barack Obama.

When the one you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure.

Yet another bit of lunacy from this ignoramus you lefties have placed in the whitehouse. Makes me wonder WTF you have in your head for a brain? Don't tell me you didn't see this coming. And despite all your 'feel-good' posts about the messiah not concerned about our guns, I'll be looking for your mia culpas to the RTF members that warned you it was inevitable. You gotta be proud of crap like this eh?

OBAMA IS SURPRISED VETS DON'T WANT TO PAY THEIR OWN MEDICAL?

This type of thinking is exactly why I could not vote for this man. He has the gall to talk about selfishness from the men and women who have fought for our freedom. We've never had a perfect president and we never will. We have a very strange one now.

HERE IS HIS RESPONSE WHEN HE BACKED OFF FROM HIS DECISION TO LET THE MILITARY PAY FOR THEIR WAR INJURIES........WHAT A EMPTY HEADED PERSON HE MUST BE....SEND THIS TO EVERYONE TO SHOW JUST WHAT HE THINKS OF OUR MILITARY WHO FIGHT FOR OUR COUNTRY AND GET HURT PROTECTING OUR FREEDOM!!! I HAVE ANOTHER NAME FOR THIS CREATURE BUT AM TRYING TO STOP USING THAT WORD FOR HIM....IT IS NOT NICE......

Bad press, including major mockery of the plan by comedian Jon Stewart, led to President Obama abandoning his proposal to require veterans' private health insurance to cover the estimated $540 million annual cost to the federal government of treatment for injuries to military personnel received during their tours on active duty.

The President admitted that he was puzzled by the magnitude of the opposition to his proposal. "Look, it's an all volunteer force," Obama complained. "Nobody made these guys go to war. They had to have known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice? It doesn't compute." "I thought these were people who were proud to sacrifice for their country," Obama continued. "I wasn't asking for blood-just money. With the country facing the worst financial crisis in its history, I'd have thought that the patriotic thing to do would be to try to help reduce the nation's deficit. I guess I underestimated the selfishness of some of my fellow Americans.

Sorry, Cory. I'm now a member of the "believe whatever you like as long as it fits into what you want to believe". Pretty much like the leftys were doing during the W years.

Besides, since when is Snopes the final answer to anything? They are so damned into that lefty crowd I wouldn't buy anything they want us to think is gospel.

Since when are we gonna allow the BHO crowd to be alone in their quest to "make-it-up-as-you-go". This is the least I can do, and anyone that knows me, knows I excell at doing the least.

If the leftist yahoos on RTF dislike what I'm making up, or passing along as the real deal, they can do me a favor by placing an "ignore" by my name. Only seems "FAIR", since that's how I did it the past 8 years they were slamming and ridiculing GWB.

But I know these 'lookieloos' can't handle that. Remington is bound to add some mental-midget comment. Back Pasture will chime in with some stinking cow-pie statement, to prove he is still drinking the koolaid. And of course the all-knowing, all-seeing photog will enlighten us with his totally researched bit of tripe, all phonied up in a batch of erudite syntax.

There are plenty of those vier ecke arshlachs to go around, so tweeking them with some of my form of feel-good Machiavellian dishonesty is enjoyable. Face it, we are dealing with a batch of socialist wannabes suffering from anencephaly; just look at their global warming beliefs. How can we possibly take those people serious?

So...I'm now committed to deleting whatever component of a statistic I find troubling, and voila, I can arrive at any number that suits my prejudice. This way, I can compete with the leftists on RTF. Ignorant of the details, nuances, contradictions, and infinite complexities of the situations, they can form a sleek opinion, unhindered by anything that comes close to real knowledge. It is indeed gratifying to the marrow.

Nah, now Bill I think it is a good post and while obummer didn't use those words he did mean what you have posted. I only pointed it out becasue you know that is the first thing that the lefites are going to go after rather than the point being made.

Since I'm not buying into anything Snopes, here's another that wasn't run past that 'august' web site for verification. But it falls under my present philosophy.

RE: Obama Signs Presidential Determination Allowing Palestinians Loyal to Hamas to Resettle in US

Here is yet another unilateral action taken by our new President,
for which we must rely upon the information of friends to discover. I wonder how the "Jewish" block of Democratic voters now feels about their choice for President.

Try and tell the American people that Obama doesn't have ties to the Islamic terrorist world. Obama funds $20M tax payer dollars to immigrate Hamas Refugees to the USA

This is the news that didn't make the headlines...

By executive order, President Barack Obama has ordered the expenditure of $20.3 million in migration assistance to the Palestinian refugees and conflict victims in Gaza . The "presidential determination" which allows hundreds of thousands of Palestinians with ties to Hamas to resettle in the United States was signed on January 27 and appeared in the Federal Register
    on February 4.

Few on Capitol Hill took note that the order provides a free ticket replete with housing and food allowances to individuals who have displayed their overwhelming support of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the parliamentary election of January 2006.

A review of Barack Obama's most recent actions since he was inaugurated:

His first call to any head of state as president was to Mahmoud Abbas, leader of Fatah party in the Palestinian territory. His first one-on-one interview with any news organization was with Al Arabia television. He ordered Guantanamo Bay closed and all military trials of detainees halted. He ordered all overseas CIA interrogation centers closed. He withdrew all charges against the masterminds behind the USS Cole and 9/11. Now we learn that he is allowing hundreds of thousands of Palestinian refuges to move to
and live in the US at American taxpayer expense.
