What difference does it make where the game is played if one's plans are to watch it on TV?

Playing in Wembly Stadium would increase viewership by at least 30%!

And, if you are going to the game;
enjoy the local cuisine like boiled beef
enjoy a couple of pints before and during the game
wear a Tshirt that says, "Soccer is for Sissies"

For the halftime show they could wheel out Eric Clapton and Steve Windwood

and yell, "you may have Mr. Becker back, if you wish"

I don't think the NFL is interested in Pay Per View. But if they were, what difference would it make where the game is played?

Two big reasons why the SB will not be on PPV.

Anger too many fans at a time when they are trying to grow the game outside of our boarders

and

Loss of network revenue from ad dollars.

Now, if broadacst TV goes the way of daily newspapers then we might all have to pay for some form of NFL ticket. But it won't b because of overseas games. It will be because of the financial failure of network TV, which is suffereing.

Who would of thought 25 years ago that ESPN (owned by ABC, which is owned by Disney) would have more weekly viewers than the ABC TV network? The internet is killing "time spent viewing" TV.
