Those are Unca Jer's hands holding the pup he gave to my sister's family after cancer claimed the life of their 9 month old BLF.

I've never met him or talked to him, but in spite of his own very full plate of problems, he did all he could to help me find a place to stay when Sinner qualified for the National last year.

My best memory of Jerry was eating Mexican food in Wagoner Oklahoma four of five years ago. During dinner we talked about dogs, music and women. Had a great time and the funny thing about that is I don’t like Mexican food but the company made up for the meal.

A missed opportunity was seeing and not having a camera when Jerry and Rainbolt stood next to each other at the trial the next day. It looked like the non-animated version of The Nightmare Before Christmas…those two boys could hang-glide on a Dorito they are so skinny. A pro, who will remain unnamed, said they just needed a good worming

Jerry's the Susan Boyle of RTF!!! Had no idea until he opened his mouth and crooned to me that he could sing so beautifully. Rumor has it that he once beat Roy Orbison in a singing contest and I believe it.

You've done so much for so many Jerry. We love you!!

Jerry...everyone's favorite internet uncle and person who would be a shoo-in favorite to win a poll of "What RTF'er would you most like to throw a cold one back with." I've enjoyed nearly a decade of reading your posts here and the handful of PMs we exhanged over the years...on subjects ranging from bar-b-que to your time spent in the Kyhber Pass (between Afghanistan and Pakistan) in the service to your country. I learned from you greatest pearl of dog-related wisdom ever...when choosing a puppy out of a litter, pick the one which peed last. RTF has been a brighter place because of you.
