I think its more offensive wearing $ 540.00 sneakers to serve food at a soup kitchen. Another expensive photo op IMHO

I understand your point and agree, but most people with that kind of money are out of touch and don't understand. Maybe she thought she was stimulating the economy! But she was probably paid to wear them anyhow. What's sad is someone thought this was news worthy.

As the family's primary dog walker, Michelle clearly requires comfortable footwear.

anyone else highly disturbed by the fact that she is wearing capris and a tee shirt. Maybe at 21 years of age im old fashioned but i like the prim and proper suits on my first ladies. Ugh who cares i suppose~
Don't forget that a lot of designers give their clothing to high-profile people. They consider it good advertsisng when someone says, "oh my god, she's wearing such and such designer's shoes or clothing". I don't think she reached into her pocket and paid that kind of money for a pair of sneakers. Those sneakers probably cost the designer like $25 bucks to make. It's the lable not the substance. I'm sure all the women in da hood are going to want a pair and will spend our tax dollars to buy them.
