Whats your breaking point ?

I am wondering sitting here looking at bills and taxes due and wonder what folks point that a revolution of some sort will take place ?

With the ever expanding spending by both R and D sides with no idea of how this utopia will be paid for. I am thinking my tolerance level will be around 60%


I am not much of a recent history buff but if any of these spending programs have actually been brought under control. Dont give me welfare reform cause thats just smoke.

I am thinking the if and when cap and trade comes into effect people will have had enough once they figure out what it will cost them

I don't know if we'll ever take to the steets with an "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore" attitude. Republicans seem to prefer tea parties and democrats don't pay taxes anyway (just look at Dear Leader's Cabinet) so why would they consider a revolution?

But here are a few tipping point issues that could be interesting:

a. the ramifications of a downgrade to our sovereign debt
b. unemployment topping 20% or so
c. trouble with FDIC w/run on the banks
d. welfare checks, food stamps, etc. stop coming
e. hyperinflation
f. the rest of the world simply refuses to buy any more of our debt
g. social security checks stop coming

I think we'll see that revolution when the social security system explodes and the lock box IOU runs out of money. Things will get intersting then.

I am still wating for Obama to share the wealth ie. spread the wealth around. I have been at the same address since 1979. Were the promised tax cuts or spreading the wealth checks lost in the mail?
