Default Indy and his cat, (GDG)

This morning when I was getting ready to take Indy out for a bit of work I wanted to go ahead and feed the cat. As usual, she was nowhere to be found and Indy was messing in the bucket of dummies. Just to get rid of him for the moment, I told him, "Indy go get the kitty". He trots off out of the garage and about one minute later, here he comes, trotting back with the cat at his side. I guess its a good thing I did not tell him "fetch"

That's too funny Carol. Only Indy...lol. For a second I thought you were going to say he came back with the cat in his mouth haha.

Sorry for the bump, but we need some lightness here. Today I decided to find out how Indy "got the kitty". We came back up the walk from training, and I saw the cat under the deck. While I could see both, I told Indy, again, "go get the kitty". He walked right up to her and nudged her like a mamma dog might do to a pup, and headed back for me with her at her side. This might be the coolest thing I have seen regarding animal interaction. On the other hand, if I had asked Scout to get the kitty, it would have been a whole 'nother story!

That is a pretty cool story and thanks for sharing it. My cats at 6-10 lbs. will not let the dogs come near them. They rule the house! Fortunately, the 120 lb. Pyr is very tolerant of small animals and leaves them alone!

    That's a great story Carol!

Archer has a special relationship with our 15 yo siamese kitty - she weighs in at about 8 lbs. He loves to give her a bath, and she doesn't seem to mind. Some mornings she looks like a drowned rat. I just laugh and think - oh, Archer bath.
