    Default Seminars and Workshops

If you ever get a chance to attend a workshop by a good trainer, with known/proven results and dogs whose style and performance impress you, do it!

I just got done spending three and a half of the fastest-passing, most retriever training information-filled days of my training career.

If you think the Total Retriever Videos are good, you should see it live and in practice. Mike Lardy is amazingly skilled at articulating in words to people, so many of the nuances that go into effective advanced retriever training.

I've made some great new friends. I've taken lots and lots of notes (a fraction of which, if I retain, will help me and future retrievers I train).

My expectations were greatly exceeded at the workshop I just attended. I believe that long after Bus is gone, I'll benefit. Not only through the stuff I've learned, but through the new friendships made in Wisconsin.

    Chris,

Glad that you had a great time. I've been to both the basic/transition and advanced seminars as a handler and those experiences formed the foundation of all that I do as a trainer. I, too, was struck by Mike's ability to articulate the theory behind the training concepts and I appreciated his thoughtful response to virtually every question. Also, we've met some neat people, and their dogs.

Imagine walking outside your front door every day to what Mike has outside his.

I have been to a couple of Mike's seminars and highly recommend them. He is a great communicator, and trainer of both people and dogs.

Hey buddy I just hope that one day I will be half as good as you as a trainer and hope that my pup turns out half as good as the BUS MAN. Thank the good lord above I have you, Mr. Pete and Mr. T.W. in my training group. Without the three of you I would be lost. Thanks again Buddy.

I've been to Dave Rorems handling seminar and intend to go again next year. Hope to go as handler this time.

Is there a schedule of these workshops somewhere?
Dogs have many friends because they wag their tails, not their tongues.
