    Grumpy old men

This week I was in Madison for the entire week and got to train with this esteemed group of people. It included Hall of Fame member Sig Vilagi, the editor of the double header newsletter, Don Wolf, plus one delightful lady, Cary Hunkel. Wednesday was pro day and I got to see a hunting test set up on the Stoughton property with a group from Illinois and an Autumn run set up on the Gallagher property. The amateur group does 2 set ups and calls it a day and usually quits by lunch time. Both Don and Sig are running the Q this weekend at West Allis. Sig set up both land and water marks on Friday. One series especially that I remember was a 125 yd mark that none of our dogs could do. Something about an 85 year old with experience in knowing how to place birds.

It was impossible, so it took a little longer to accomplish.
