    Default Master National First

I just got an e-mail from Jack Combs (who I always love running into at HTs-nice guy!) who wrote to say that his 3 year old Standard Poodle, Ten, is the first poodle to have a Master National pass!!! It's an accomplishment just to qualify to run and quite another to keep it together and play until the end. Ten just proved she's a RETRIEVER!!

    CONGRATULATIONS Jack!!!!!!!!!

    Outstanding! Congratulations!
When it stops being fun, I will find something else to do with my time and money.

I saw the poodle "Ten" - she is adorable and apparently did a great job! Of course, as others have heard me say before, the poodle was the original retriever! Got to love 'em.

I thought that perhaps Eileen Jaskowarski (sp is wrong) from Colorado perhaps had run her standards in the MN..?

    I think that's fantastic
luv seeing the less popular retrievers have accomplishments at the bigger events.
Anyone who works with the less conventional retrevers know a tremendous
level of satisfaction in those successes

It was a great feeling when my Boykin passed two Grands back to back for his GRHRCH

WOW!!!!! Thanks for letting us know Miriam! A HUGE congrats to the Coomb family and Ten.....she is also doing well in Breed as I understand. Great Dog!!!!!Great Family!!!! A Master National finish is really something special, but to be the first Standard Poodle to accomplish that is exceptional!

Congratulations Jack & Ten! A big congratulations to Mia as well. I know she has been Jack & Ten's biggest fan and "bird girl" throughout Ten's career!
