Open it with paint, save as a new file, maybe with a 2 behind it but before the .jpg (so you don't loose the original one)
At the top Select Image, then Resize/Skew (or click Ctrl + W)
In the top two boxes (under Resize) put a number lower than 100, same number in both boxes, to make it smaller.
Click OK
Save your image.
If you have to resize it more than once, it's often better to start over with the original because it can get fuzzy when reducing it multiple times.

go to your photo editor and go to the 'image' tab (it might be in the edit box)- then click resize.... If your program isn't set up this way, go to your help tab and type in resizing photo...
resize to about 500 pixels on the longest side (keep the proportions the same - so as not to distort the pic)...save, then go to imageshack or other web site for hosting pix...upload from there and paste the link to the image here...
