Wow...were your ancestors the ones who sold Manhatten?

A big man never looks down on others.... instead, he is someone to look up to.

Tom you can have your pick of houses in Cape Coral or LeHigh for less than 90K. Most are less than 6 years old, some never lived in. A few years ago they were selling for 260-320K.
3 or 4 years ago I went with my nephew to look at new houses from a BIG national company. I sat in the sales office with him as they explained that there was a year long waiting list to get into a house, BUT if you lock in today for 260K, your house will be worth 350K by the time you move in. That is exactly what they told him. You will make almost 100K before you even move in. I was trying to keep a straight face and didn’t want to mess up his home buying experience, but even he was smart enough to know that it was a bogus claim and ended up passing on buying one. They were selling lots for 80K that had sold 2 years earlier for 5K! The beauty in this case is the home builder is bankrupt and in trouble for its business practices.
Now if you want to talk the condo market down here…….they will almost pay to to move in to one.
