Due to my busy schedule, I normally train alone and my dog is now at the stage to be introduced to retired gunners.
Since time is limited, I was thinking of building a remote control gunner that would retire with a turn of the nob, and then come back to it's original place by turning the nob back. Similar to model airplane or car steering.
I was thinking using a TT release, and convert the servo but I think it would only be one way after pressing the button. I also need something that would be able to support a white kite on stick.
How do other people do retired gunners when training alone?
I thought of this ideal so if my dog could see the gunner and then have it retire when the dog was enroute, before going to retired gun right away.
I know it's another piece of damn equipment, but if it could save me 5-10 minutes, plus give me more options on training my dog it may be worth it.
What do you think, are there other options (besides a real person) that would work?
