I think I would take the deduction if it were passed. Nothing wrong with letting Uncle Sugar help pay for some Frontline.

I used to work at an import company. Our office was attached to the warehouse/assembly plant. I was hanging out after work one day with a couple of people from the office, the plant manager and a guy from the warehouse they called "Country." At one point in the conversation the plant manager said to Country, "what do you know, you claimed your dogs as dependents on your tax return." Naturally I thought this was a joke, but then Country blurted out "well I feed the sonofab!+(#e$!"

I almost fell out of my chair.
