Seriously, I did not make that comparison, and when I heard it, I stated it was inappropriate, as did many on the news as well. Both sides will have their fringe elements that get all the media attention. I try not to judge by what a few wackos do on the news. One thing that really annoys me is when I see someone from my camp acting like a fool, giving all of us a blackeye. Thats why I started the thread on the moron toting an AR15 to a rally.

I saw clips on msn and fox. It looked like 2 different events. I have to say that the participants on both side were NOT appropriate. Barney is a elected official and I would say a career politician. He should act the part not as if he was in Jr. high. Some of the folks were just as infantile and do more harm to advancing a real debate. Of the town hall meetings I watched it did seam to me as the politicians showed up to tell people how it will be and the debate portion was how those in opposition are wrong and most came off quite condescending.

I was on city council of a small little township but we did have lively debate. Folks on council did not debate or argue but made notes and were respectful. Many time I would have liked to tell someone to shut the *#^* up but was able to contain myself. If you actually listened to the folks some had really good points and we used this to further discuss.

Buzz...please. The real nutjob....the one in the White House, has people in this country scared to death and susceptible to people of all ilk, who want to capitalize on that fear.

Obama's lack of experience and qualifications for anything above a community organizer, no matter how intelligent he is, is starting to get EVERYBODIES attention.

There is no coherency coming out of Washington right now, period. The far left loons are out of control and throwing anything and everything up against the wall to see if it sticks. Obama can't even control this element of his own party. BTW, we are starting to see that he isn't really a centrist/moderate is he? He's as left and looney as Barney Fag.

What has become of politics when a powerfuk sitting congressman, sits there and insults his constituency. If he was half as smart as everyone seems to think he is....he would do something to CALM people down. Instead, he "hits back harder", the slogan of Obama's campaign promise to change politics as usual. The only thing changing is that the Dems are now more calloused and egotistical as ever and don't give a tinker's damn about anything but their looney, socialistic agenda. Constituency be damned.
