    Default Obama's Youths "Brown Shirts"

Easier to brainwash them while they are still impressionable.

Anyone want to take a guess on who will be paying for this?

I can see where this will be heading; a bunch of young thugs beating and brutalizing folks that don't agree with his policies.

It's such a shame that in the USA, defending Liberty has become such a heroic deed.

Yep, that's me. A 60 year old fart in a brown (well camo) shirt, beating up on people who disagree with my "messiah's" policies. As one who makes automatic monthly donations, I don't think I quite fit your description and have never actually met anyone else who does. Sorry.

Are the brown shirts the same ones who are pushing S2099 through congress which will force everyone to committ abortions with handguns before submitting to the death-panels being run by illegal aliens who got free health care? AAgh! The Sky is falling AGAIN!

You two can live in denial all you want.

I know how dangerous a bunch of misled inner-city youths can become. Inner-city youths will become more dangerous as more and more Americans reject Obama's attempt to make the USA a socialist country.

Do college students who don't get involved with OFA get credits for opposing his reforms. 1 vote for Obama = 1 college credit 1 vote for Obama = 1 carton of smokes, etc, etc, etc, etc. lol

LOL. Right, because you pimping the theory that Cheney started a war with Iraq to enrich himself and his Halliburton cronies is so much less crazy than brown shirts and death panels.

We can do better than brown shirts can't we? Maybe a black shirt with a rainbow patch over the heart or a red shirt with the hammer and sickle emblem across the back. Very stylish.

In fact, this idea could become so big that perhaps our Dear Leader should expand his Cabinet to include the Department of the Khmer Rouge. With so many unemployed and disenfranchised youth in this country what better way to get them back to work. They could patrol the streets on bicycles with the authority to issue warnings and citations. Two warnings and you're sent to a re-education camp.

Unlimited potential. We could have these youth snitch on their parents, too. Dad listening to Rush on the radio...turn him in. Bad mouthing our Dear Leader at home...turn him in. No Koran next to the Bible, not good...turn them in.

This country will be straightened out in no time.

Not at all Hew. I just made a collage of right wing extreme statements that have all been debunked as false!

As for Halliburton, just look at the total sum of non-competitive contracts awarded to a company who gave D.C. $42 million in severance pay after several years of mediocre performance.

Just pretend it was Biden in that situation, and how you would react.

    Here we go again.

    - Where did you get the figure of $42 million for Cheney's "severance pay?" Google "Cheny Halliburton $42 million" or any other iteration of terms that indicate $42 million and you get bubkus. So where did you come up with $42 mil?

    - Cheney didn't receive "severance pay." He received salary that he earned and deferred while employed by Halliburton, and he received mult-millions (potentially/likely) worth of stock options. When he became VP he purchased a $15,000 insurance policy to protect his deferred salary (to blunt the inevitable claims that he had a vested interest in keeping Halliburton afloat), and he directed that any post-tax profits derived from exercised options be given to charity. Moreover, the charitable contributions would not be claimed on his tax filing.

    - Every business article I've read regarding his term at the helm of Halliburton was that he did a good or excellent job. Got any non-moveon.org articles I could read saying he was a mediocre CEO?

    - The LOGCAP contract that got Halliburton into Iraq and provided the bulk of their Iraq-related revenues was a competitively bid contract. DynCorp had the LOGCAP contract immediately before Halliburton. As an aside, when DynCorp had the contract they weren't able to totally fulfill their obligations so the Clinton Defense Dept. had to award a separate, truly no-bid contract to Halliburton to provide logistical support in Bosnia and Serbia during the height of our presence there. LOGCAP was a huge open-ended, cost-plus contract. That the govt./DoD chose to task Halliburton with multiple responsibilities in the lead-up/aftermath of a war with the most expedient contractual method, LOGCAP, shouldn't have been a shocker. Moreover, there are few, if any, companies that have the ability and track record to provide the services the govt. was asking for.

I've got no problem with anyone thinking Cheney is/was a jerk, loose cannon, incompetant, dunce, whatever. But I find it repugnant that anyone would suggest that he would put troops in harms' way so he could earn more money. The facts don't support it. Common sense doesn't support it. Anyone who insinuates that, in my mind, is forever stamped with a scarlett letter M for "MOONBAT."
