With all the hullabaloo about this "death document", I decided to download this document.

I have not completed reading it. At the outset it seems to be a relatively well thoughtout and organized manual. It addresses key issues that definitely need to be addressed by people with family or themselves in advanced years or who are facing a dire medical condition.

I know I appreciated knowing about living wills, do not resuscitate forms and hospice instructions when my parents were at life's end.

That being said, I find it very curious this type of publication is being produced by the Veterens Administration. Who among other things has not proven capable of operating a qualitative and/or efficient medical and benefits program.
