Isn't this Cass Sunstein "of counsel" to HSUS/PETA? Or a regular spokesman for them? At any rate this is seriously BAD news for hunters and in fact anyone who fears draconian 'animal guardianship' type regulations. This person is a serious Animal Rights whack job with an agenda who thinks it's wrong for people to own animals, eat meat, wear leather, etc. and heaven help you if you hunt for sport.

I find it interesting that this thread has been alive since yesterday afternoon and 'some' of the regulars have yet to make an appearance...Starting the countdown until someone on here starts defending this move too.Can't even denounce a bad decision by the messiah when it is clearly wrong no matter which side of the aisle you support, I guess.
It wouldn't make you inconsistent, it might actually show some common sense...

whats scary is that some talking heads have speculated that once Sunstein gets a WH job he will be on a very short list for the next SCOTUS opening should that happen during the BHO presidency...that thought really scares the living daylights out of me..Sunstein is left of left

The only good thing about Sunstien being nominated for SCOTUS is that he will likely be replacing another liberal. I don't see a conservative justice retiring until after osama is tossed out in the 2012 election. I hope the 5 we have remain healthy.
