Dont feel bad for John Ensign , his father owns a couple of casinos here in Vegas and John had a very lucrative VETERINARIAN practice before he got into politics...I actually campaigned for him but he lost my respect, he is a very nice man however, but like many politicians couldnt keep it in his pants

My own experience with politicians is that, as a group, they are people users. I tend to think that is a necessity for the job. They may be highly ethical in their public lives, and they may be brilliant analysts and hard workers. However, almost every politician I have known who was successful was a pretty miserable person with their families and with their friends.
BTW: My experience with senior executives with major corporations is the same.....
