They are nothing if not slow, Bob. 'Stuck on stupid' comes to mind, but then I'd be quoting Reverend Wright.

Evan,
you guys elected him TWICE and you have the gall to say i'm stupid?
thanks, Evan. nice touch......
Bob,
i addressed this in an earlier post. we are well aware that he is no longer the president.
he was, however the chief executive of this country during a period of time that produced many of the problems the present administration is trying to deal with now. i think you understand that.
you would probably see less reference to him on this site if you and others would stop attacking the current administration for many of the policies that have been in place during his tenure. especially since many of these policies were common to administrations prior to Mr. Bush taking the Oath.-Paul

I'm sure Obama will shatter some of those records before his first, and last term, is done.

Stan,
the fact that you choose to call him anything but his given name or simply the President is derisive. it is really no different than the myriad other insulting nicknames i see on here day after day.
i agree with you in that it's childish, though.
i consider Bush to be the worst President of this country in my lifetime. but i respect him enough to not resort to name calling.
it sure would be nice if this crap stopped.....-Paul

The crap will stop, when we get a new occupant of the White House after the 2012 election.

Yes, its nice to hear at least respect for the office of POTUS. "Dubya" was a name used by his friends as well as enemies, nonetheless, I try to use proper names when referring to presidents, past and present.
I have seen repeatedly "O-bumma", "Osama", and "obongo" which I find neither cute or respectful.
As for you assessment of Mr. Bush, I couldn't agree more. In fact, my 90 year old grandfather who weathered the Great Depression, WWII, and a coal-mine cave-in, says Bush was the worst disaster he's seen in his lifetime!
