I doubt there is a way to accurately count 'saved' jobs.

Is there a hotline at the White House where business owners can call in and say 'Mr. Obama, thank you. My business was going to shut its doors last week, but thanks to your stimulus plan, we are still open for business! We have 10 employees.'? Then some intern puts 10 more tally marks on the chalkboard?

Let x = How many jobs Bush would have been responsible for loosing
Let y = The number of jobs Dear Leader has saved
Let z = The number of jobs actually lost

Example:
x=300,000,000
z=200,000,000

x-z=y

300,000,000-200,000,000=100,000,000

There you have it, Dear Leader will have saved 100,000,000 jobs by the time he's done.

That formula also works on:
-How many beers I would have drank in the last 20 years had I not gotten married.
-How many super models I would have dated in that same period.
-How many deer, ducks, pheasants, grouse, ect. I would have shot, had I been able to hunt when ever I wanted.
-% of blame to place on everyone in any situation

You name it, and plug in whatever numbers you feel are appropriate, and it'll work. Who knows if your good enough at it, the White House may even give you a job.
