Default Palin book tour avoids Democratic strongholds

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Sarah Palin's book tour is a gift for her base.
No stops are planned in Seattle, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and other major cities and book-buying communities that are standard for authors on the road, but where the voters tend to be Democrats.
Beyond a Nov. 16 television interview with Oprah Winfrey, nothing is scheduled for Chicago. New York will feature media appearances only. Instead, the itinerary for Palin, whose "Going Rogue" comes out Nov. 17, includes Noblesville, Ind.; Washington, Pa.; and Rochester, N.Y.

Looks like Ms. Palin is hitting all the big metropoulos areas on her book tour.

Most things I post are current events, however some are current events of old subjects with new information coming out about them.

I agree it's current. But is it really an event?

    Don't lose the faith!

From a business perspective, why would she want to go to very strong liberal areas? Would it not be a wise business decsion to spend the money to visit areas of the country where her sales would be higher? After all, she is trying to make money with by pimping her book!
