Temple Grandin has made huge contributions to the natural management of livestock. I must admit that I thought she was a kook the first time I met her forty years ago in Arizona when we were both working as reporters for livestock publications. Over the years I have developed a deep appreciation for her handicap and her contributions to the art of handling livestock. Many of her findings can be applied to dog training as well.

Cool, the subject on how dogs think/ learn ceases to fascinate me.

I wonder if the retriever trainers who are currently employed training bomb detection, will change any of their methodology when they return to normal "training"?
