The Supreme Court on Thursday upended a century's worth of campaign finance law. An immediate question raised by the Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission decision is whether this will flood elections with suddenly legal corporate money. Less understood but deeply significant is what this shows about the court and its relationship to the Obama administration and Congress.

There should be no "relation" between the court and president. The fact that all five in favor of this ruling were republican appointees, tells me where republican loyalties lay. Not that dems are angelic in this sense, they're both caving to the real ruling party in this country....the corporations. This country is being run out of board rooms, and washington merely is local of all the cat-houses where the transactions occur.

What do you expect from someone raised and taught only class envy, Marvin?

None of the left's whining about this SCOTUS decision mentions the acknowledgements that MUST accompany every paid contribution, rather than hiding behind some front for George Soros and his ilk...OR the PACs fronting the unions...or the corruption developed by the ACORN group, led by the likes of the messiah and his cronies.

What this ruling really does is put the kybosh to so many crooked money skimmers running the various PACs that became so prolific during the McCain-Fiengold regulation, in their attempts to circumvent the constraints on promoting their socialist candidate.
