Anyone in or near Lawton, OK.

My step-daughter is at Fort Sill going thru basic training and will be graduating March 19th. My wife, a good friend and myself will be driving in from NC to be there for family day and graduation. Plans right now are for us to leave NC on Tues. evening March 16th and should arrive in Lawton on Wednesday evening. then probably leave to come home on Sat, the 20th, so we will be staying 3 nights.

Anyone got any good recomendations for a hotel? Don't want to break the bank but also don't want some crap hole.

Also are there any cigar shops around?

I live in Duncan, which is about 30 miles from Lawton. Lawton is where for go for just about everything, except groceries, we have a big blue store for that. Anyways. Stay on the north and northwest side of town and you will be good. The south side and east side is over run with gangs and stuff, it really is that bad. The fiance and I went to dinner and movie there this summer and on the way home at about midnight there was a gang fight in a Denny's parking lot

sad what this world is coming to, and glad I don't live in a big city.
