Default Emmitt pup takes to water (Pics)

Pretty irrelevant to the forum but I thought I would share a few pics from todays water training. This is Mavericks second attempt to swim and he did great today. He's 10 weeks old now and taking to the water like a champ. First attempt was with another RTF member and he was completely sidetracked in a new area (too much goose crap and feathers to chase).

    Sad he had to leave:

Nice looking pup. I'm getting a new project in July. I'm starting to get excited.

Emmitt pups have been pretty successful and there are not many on the ground, yet. Nice looking pup. Cosmo will make make him love birds.

That's awesome - Love to see the young dogs get excited about retrieving, overcoming obstacles, and having "light bulbs" go off. Nothing beats it!

Not trying to HJ the thread but I love my two Emmitt pups. One is sixteen months today and the other turned six months last week. The older one is a great marking dog, very obedient, takes but doesn't need much pressure, excellent attitude.
The young one is going to be a fire breather. Probably the most intense young one I have had.
    Good luck!!
