And yes Bon, I've been in South Beach. A few years ago I participated in a cessna fly-in to Grand Cayman. I was struck by the huge difference I saw flying over Cuba as compared to the Keys. While the Keys were littered with lawn chairs, coolers and prop marks and all sorts of debris, I flew over miles of beach and un-disturbed reef in Cuba.
When Castro is gone, (and he will be) the economic development opportunities in Cuba will be vast. Maybe an economic turn-around for the US. Who knows? Maybe even some sporting opportunities for hew since Haiti is in such a shambles.
