duded it was just a blanket statement on what general idiots he and al franken and the rest of their ilk are. i in no way think ed schultz is the reason. just slapping them, thats all.

I heard the "Ed Show" is kicking butt in the TV ratings game. It's all about ratings and sponsors.

Liberals and independents don't need to be fed their thoughts, therefore don't spend countless hours being spoon-fed what to say and think by talking heads.

There is a lot of truth to that off the cuff statement. It comes down to talent though. Shultz and a few other liberal talkers have excellent ratings and are beating some of the righties in the big markets.

They do have a problem though. Most liberals are are to busy hunting, fishing, golfing, working, family etc to waste a lot of time listening to them talk. The demographic of the right wing radio junkie is older, retired, and not to active. They have lots of time to listen to the radio and watch all the cable outlets.

Most liberals are are to busy trying to end all hunting and fishing, taking away everyone's guns, halting all animal breeding, making everyone guardians instead of owners of their animals, golfing, figuring out which welfare/entitlement program gets them the most money while they watch their flat screen TVs in their Section 8 houses and make babies for bigger checks, etc. plus they don't understand big words, so they have a hard time listening to them talk. The demographic of the right wing radio junkie is older, retired, tax paying productive citzens, and active hunting, fishing, etc. that are tired of listening to the current crop of commie symps trying to buy votes. They understand big words and would rather listen to talk radio than cRap music and can afford cable.

I don't know Bon....our local contingency bussing to DC for Glen Beck's rally are all retired, smoker's-coughing, too-sick-to-hunt, grumpy old men who saw their retirement packages yanked out from under them this decade.

Even if they did have to watch helplessly while the government spoon-fed their tax dollars to leeches who'd rather take hand outs than work And not that I'm any disciple of Glen Beck, never even listened to the man.
Hmmm, I'd venture to guess that more constructive ideas will come out of Beck's rally than the other one.

i remember listening to him once and in the span of 1/2 hour - all i could stand - he called GWB "that son of a b___ch" in a very angry tone 4 or 5 times. if thats as middle off the road as they come then you must be falling over the edge of the left shoulder....

You don't have to be a lefty to be ticked off about "W". I'm one of those retired guys that saw a lifetime of retirement savings yanked out from under my feet under King George, the "Dubya".
