I was lucky enough to see him live, one time. He was joined onstage by George Benson. The two of them tore it up for an audience of about 75 people. SRV was special in a lot of ways, but, his pure love of music really was so evident that evening. I am convinced SRV and Mr. Benson would have played the same, had there only been 7 people in the audience.
