Lots of Woodies and Mallards.
Didn't see any Teal.
Too many Canada Geese.

I am so excited, I have not been duck hunting in 5 seasons.
God had another plan for me.

BTW--I will have some pics of an estuary I hunt off of Lake Michigan in Door Cty WI.
I bow hunted near it last year and in late Oct. early Nov. they were pounding all day long.
Big water ducks.
I got to send Elvis on a couple retrieves with some fellas hunting there last season.
He was 9 months old, that little bugger fought the rollers and got those ducks.
I just can't wait!!!!

wrong assumption....lots of internet scouters out there so I try not to advertise the areas I hunt even though they are all on private property..RK, I don't think anyone else hunts...

I have not hunted ducks since I was a kid at home on the farm. Many. many years ago but that does not keep me from enjoying all other hunters' tales.
Back then Dad leased a farm that contained 600 acres from a well to do family of lawyers in a near by town. They did not hunt that I ever knew of and had no idea what that swamp land was good for. They decided to let a guy drain it and that ruined the best duck hunting in the county as far as I was concerned. I never managed to kill a single duck with my little 410 but the dogs and I had a blast every fall that there was water in the swamp.
