Sunrise in a marsh somewhere in Louisiana.
I fix dog's people problems!
Be careful what you assume...
One of Roux's first hunts before we knew what a field trial was.
One of Prissy's first hunts. She is just a bit wired. Note the ecollar, chain, and leads on her. The healing stick is in the blind. She will be a week past 2 years old and running her first Qual in Oct. Love this little black girl.
Me at 56 years old and Prissy at 14 months old making a nice little gun dog though still a bit wired.

Prissy and Gene after a river hunt last January.
Roux and Gene after a morning when we took turns and called the shots at greenheads. The pond in the background looks like a setting in the Ozark Mountains. It is not.
And finally, my late friend, Gene Taylor, who I miss terribly. This picture was taken last season at the watershed, one of our go to honey holes. I've always loved the anticipation of a new season...but not this year.

Great photos! Frank P., love the one of Prissy with all her hardware
This is my go-to honey hole, and I don't care if you find the GPS on it because this is my farm and we have ways of dealing with trespassers....
And this is my lil freaky-eyed pup, the one in my avatar, that nobody wanted, that didn't learn to swim til she was a year old; I couldn't even give her away as a nice house pet. Finally had her FF at 14 mos., then ran in a few derbies where she really held her own against dogs that were on the derby list/on pro trucks before she knew how to swim! And despite my DAH, she finished two of the four
This was my husband and her first hunt, she was 17 mos. He had my gun and the made dog, Puffin. I had Panda on a stout chain, and the camera. We were just watching but after Puffin paraded by with her 2nd goose Pander was beside herself so we let her get a couple.

God Bless PFC Jamie Harkness. The US Army's newest PFC, but still our neighbor's little girl!
Here is a shot of 7 week old Raider the day after he arrived from Seattle. Teal fell at 80 yards which he marked well.
Here is my sweetie, Tou after a morning hunting a farm pond surrounded by soy beans.
And, Ms Booty after hunting an oxbow of the Noxubee River
This is the farm pond where we shot the ducks with my yellow female.

Where do we go without great leaders for the defense of our liberties? Who will defend our right to live our lives _as we chose_ without others taking that from us? The answer is, as it should be, no one. We are the defense of our rights and should always remember that. Libertarian blogger
