Sounds like McDonald's may get an exemption from the WH.
McDonald's provides mini-med plans for workers at 10,500 U.S. locations, most of them franchised. A single worker can pay $14 a week for a plan that caps annual benefits at $2,000, or about $32 a week to get coverage up to $10,000 a year.
To bad McDonald's doesn't make enough profits to give actual healthcare benefits to their employees. 14 dollars a week for a plan that provides a MAXIMUM of 2000 dollars benefits! Now that is generous.
im a lib and didn't click on it after viewing the thread because it states the source in the link. waste of time.

It appears that Micky D has arranged a program to offer some form of coverage to employees of franchises. These are not employees of McDonald's but employees of the franchise owner. I suspect the program is offered to franchise employees as an incentive to the franchise owners as a perk to help them hire employees. McD will probably $hat can the program rather than run afoul of Obamacare. My guess is more folks added to the list of uninsureds.
