Absentee ballots are a major source of fraud, but not one that can be ascribed to one party over another. In Ohio, for example, only of the many frauds identified was a republican election worker who filed absentee ballots on behalf of a large number of nursing home residents. In fact, many (if not most) states allow political parties and other third parties to collect absentee ballots and even to assist voters n filling out the forms. That has made nursing homes a favorite target.
