Farve is a great QB but.....

That distinction is owned by Joe "Cool" Montana! I would also put Johnny U, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Otto Graham and a few others ahead.

well it used to be Dan Marino..

Favre will have the most career interceptions..

Favre will have won only one Super Bowl when his career is over

his 3 NFL MVP is what makes his record impressive

How many SB wins did Marino have?

It's not a debate to me, you can like whoever you want, I watched Favre play and I loved watching him play.

Every Sunday after Church we would go to someones house with all our kids and watch Favre.
Our family's grew up together with him.
He was part of the family.

It's very fashionable to hate on him right now.
    I won't participate.

He is my favorite player I ever saw play.

The consecutive starts and 70,000 plus yards and 500 plus TD's are pretty impressive.

Joe Montana owns all the important Post Season records for a QB.

He is 4 - 0 in Super Bowls and a 3 time SB MVP.
Highest passer rating of All Time, leading the league 5 seasons in a row with only 139 interceptions in his career.

He may not have the longevity of Farve, hence he doesn't have as many pass attempts or yards but, he delivered his team, season after season to the promised land.

While Farve is a Top 10 All Time QB, lets don't forget that his team lost in the playoffs 3 years in a row to the Cowboys.

I don't hate Farve either, just keeping it real. Afterall, he grew up 45 minutes from downtown New Orleans and wanted to be drafted by the Saints.

    P S

The NFL Network just concluded a 13 weeks series ranking the Top 100 NFL players of All Time. I just went to the site to see how they had them ranked.

Voters consisted mostly of NFL players from all eras as well as the most respected sports journalist.

    Here is how the All Time QB's ranked;

    #4 Joe Montana
    #6 Johnny Unitas
    #8 Peyton Manning
    #16 Otto Graham
    #20 Brett Farve
    #21 Tom Brady
