To the makers of RTF,

David, we have looked into some things like this. RTF is on a Vbulletin format. The last we looked into it, we would need to upgrade to a new version of VBulletin, in order to have the ap as a possibility.
Sorry that we don't have it ready today... No commitments, but RTF does desire to keep up with technology whenever possible.
Thanks! Chris

there are vbb apps out there. They let you read and post. The free ones have never worked well but i have heard good things about the paid ones.
Chris, I understand your position. It would be cool to be able to access conversation while on the fly!
Oh my.. I get my emails, I have FaceBook and Skype on my android this becomes a phone app... I'll never get any work done

Hi David,
A quick question: I have a BlackBerry and I keep up on RTF when away from a computer through the browser - no problem. Can you do that today?
You are not the first person to ask for an "App". I'm just wondering what an Ap does that the web browser does not.
Thanks, Chris

I'm the same as you Chris, I read and post with my BB frequently.
Maybe and App would make it more user friendly?

I get that...I mean going to RTF from the 'Berry is not speedy like being at the desktop. I have to wait for the banners to load and can not easily do stuff like change usernames, or other moderation stuff. But I can get by.
I guess one concern I'd have is going through an upgrade to enable apps for those who request it (not a very frequent request, but we've had a couple) and then finding that the app is really not that much better than the browser. (Or finding that we open other cans of worms when we do the upgrade)

Chris,
I could probably access the RTF through the browser on my iphone, but its such a hassle that I dont, probably the same experience that you had with the BB. But speaking of hassles I am sure that going through the process of establishing an app would be quite the hassle too. However, keeping that in mind apple products are seeming to dominate the market.
Rtf and entry express work very well on my Iphone I would be lost without it.
