Default Ut OH!!!! My dog is a democrat!

Got this in an email.....thought it was funny!

My dog sleeps about 20 hours a day. She has her food prepared for her. She can eat whenever she wants, 24/7/365. Her meals are provided at no cost to her. She visits the Dr. once a year for her checkup, and again during the year if any medical needs arise. For this she pays nothing, and nothing is required of her. She lives in a nice neighborhood in a house that is much larger than she needs, but she is not required to do any upkeep. If she makes a mess, someone else cleans it up. She has her choice of luxurious places to sleep. She receives these accommodations absolutely free. She is living like a queen, and has absolutely no expenses whatsoever. All of her costs are picked up by others who go out and earn a living every day. I was just thinking about all this, and suddenly it hit me like a brick in the head,

    My dog is a Democrat!

Well, I'm a democrat, and I don't have it near as well as the dog in your post.

But, my Chessie, somewhat to my embarrassment is a true Republican ... he believes in 'property rights' and he will fight for them

And, my dog gets to the vet several times a year, even if just to be weighed and 'socialized to the vet'. He sleeps on the bed, but only when invited. He waits at the door for me and mine to lead the way...automatically. He waits expectantly, but respectfully, to be fed his high priced 'kibble', and a few raw treats.

In other words, he exercises personal resonsibility and is accountable for his actions.

Dang them conservative values. He honors them like he honors his nose.

    Shades of anthropoliticalism

All of the best ones I have interacted with are/were. They work hard, pay their due and never ask for help. And if offered often ignore it just on principle. They wont waste a hundreds yaps when one simple menacing stair and low growl will work better. They are intolerant poor performance of their owner/government and feel they work for him.
They never feel entitled to the Ham on the counter…
they just reach up and get it their own self’s……
