I wasn't defending Obama. I was defending the right to get up and leave if anyone found the memorial service offensive.

Funny thing though, of the thousands actually present, none got up to leave.If you read these forums, you will see me criticize Obama. Mostly for his continuation of Bush policies and wars.

"Fixin ta" is not just a Texas thang.

I grew up in MO....We was always "fixin' ta" do sumpin'.

Now, in WI, it's "fixin ta'....ya hey dare!!"

I still say "fixin' ta" in Pa, and nobody seems to notice. I think its a universal thang nowadays. One thing I hear in Pittsburgh and nowhere else is, "redd up". As in get ready for something.

"got company coming...gotta redd up the place"
